17th edition of MEDIBAT (Sfax, October 4-7, 2023):
The first major meeting of construction and public works in Tunisia, back
The MEDIBAT Mediterranean Building Exhibition, Tunisia’s first major construction and public works event, is back.
Organized by the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS), this full-scale biennial economic event will, in fact, take place from October 4 to 7, 2023, as usual in the southern capital Sfax.
The preparations undertaken over the past few months by the CCI of Sfax augur a promising new edition with an expected presence of the most remarkable Arab, African and Mediterranean countries.
The renewed enthusiasm for MEDIBAT among professionals, decision-makers and businessmen was clearly felt during the exhibition promotion actions carried out by the CCIS in professional and business circles during a series of events held abroad (Libya, France, Spain, Algeria, Lebanon, Senegal, Burkina Faso) in the past weeks and months in which the Chamber took part.
For its part, the ASCME (Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Mediterranean) is committed, through an agreement signed with the CCIS, to promote the 17th edition of MEDIBAT and to encourage its members to organize visits by professional delegations to the show. A second agreement was also signed and along the same lines with the Chamber of Commerce of Silesia – Poland which has reserved an entire pavilion for the exhibition and will bring an official and professional delegation to Sfax.
In Somme, we expect a record participation of more than 300 exhibitors with the also expected presence of renowned experts and professionals from the world of architecture, engineering, town planning, entrepreneurship and modern construction.
Always “at the heart of MEDIBAT”, the African continent will be well represented in the show with the presence of many countries such as Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Mali, Niger, Gabon, Chad, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, in addition to Libya and Algeria having already confirmed their participation through the exhibition or official delegations which will be led by ministers, decision-makers and high influential personalities.
Finally, we expect that the new edition will achieve a very positive result not only in terms of exhibitors, official delegations, but also in terms of professional visitors who will approach, according to forecasts, 30 thousand visitors. and in the number of business meetings that will take place during the Forums and events parallel to the exhibition. We are counting on no less than 200 business meetings between the various partners, likely to give rise to joint ventures and concrete projects.
